Most people would place LSU and Alabama at the top two spots if they had to guess who would play for the Allstate National Championship and it's clear that those predictions are coming true. The SEC is destined to own the champ, that much is for sure. LSU certainly deserves the top spot after beating yet another top opponent with their domination over Arkansas this weekend. As for Alabama, they beat Auburn and are now ready for a rematch of the 9-6 snoozer the two teams played earlier in the year.
Virginia Tech, Stanford and Oklahoma State round out the top five in the latest USA Today/Coaches Poll. After the loss, Arkansas fell to No. 10.
