Kansas State's heartbreaking loss to Oklahoma State likely knocked the Wildcats out of BCS bowl contention. With only two losses thus far and an entertaining offense, the Wildcats are still lined up for a bowl with a pretty good pay out. Where Kansas State ends up will likely be decided by the outcome of their game in Austin against Texas in two weeks. This week's bowl projection has the Wildcats matching up with Arizona State who was upset last week by UCLA.
Missouri is slotted for a bowl in this week's projections but the Tigers still haven't gained bowl eligibility. The Tigers will have to win two of their last three games to gain bowl eligibility. Missouri plays Texas on Nov 12, Texas Tech on Nov 19, and finishes out the regular season against Kansas on Nov 26. This week's projections have Missouri playing in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Rutgers.
Here are the bowl projections for Kansas State and Missouri:
Valero Alamo Bowl, December 29, 2011
Kansas State vs. Arizona State
New Era Pinstripe Bowl, December 30,2011
