Kansas State Vs. North Florida Final Score: Wildcats Need Overtime To Defeat Ospreys

Kansas State needed overtime to win its 38th consecutive non-conference game at Bramlage Coliseum defeating North Florida 79-68. The Wildcats outscored the Ospreys 19-8 in the extra session after watching a seven point halftime lead disappear in the second half.

It was a wild ending to regulation with Kansas State taking a 60-58 lead with just 19 seconds remaining thanks to a three point basket from Will Spradling. The Wildcats couldn't hold the lead when Jimmy Williams Jr's bucket tied the game at the buzzer and sent the game to overtime. Kansas State hit 11 of 12 free throw attempts in the overtime seal the victory.

Thomas Gipson led the Wildcats with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Will Spradling and Jamar Samuels each tossed in 12 points and grabbed five rebounds. The Wildcats were playing in their second straight overtime game after losing to West Virginia in double overtime on Thursday.

Jimmy Williams Jr and Parker Smith both finished with 13 points for the Ospreys. Jerron Granberry also finished in double figures with 12 points. North Florida hit 7 of 18 three-point-attempts in the game while Kansas State was just 2 for 15 in the game.
