After trailing 13-7 at the end of the first quarter, Kansas State scored the only 10 points of the second quarter and now lead Iowa State 17-13 at halftime.
The Wildcats got a 37 yard field goal from Anthony Cantele to cut the lead to 13-10 and Collin Klein gave Kansas State the lead with a one yard rushing touchdown with just 20 seconds remaining in the half.
Collin Klein finished the first half with 137 yards passing and 63 yards rushing. He accounted for both of Kansas State's touchdowns. Tramaine Thompson has two catches for 87 yards including a 68 yard touchdown catch.
Jared Barnett has 77 yards passing and a touchdown for Iowa State. Duran Hollis is leading the way on the ground with 47 yards rushing.
