Jacob Pullen's Hot Streak Continues As Kansas State Basketball Wins Again

The Kansas State Wildcats basketball team has now won two games in a row and guard Jacob Pullen has looked fantastic doing it. On Monday night, K-State beat the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks and on Saturday they hosted the Oklahoma Sooners dropping them, 77-62.

The Oklahoma game was still tight with six minutes remaining as the Wildcats held a five point lead. However, an Oklahoma technical sparked a 14 point run by Kansas State -- Pullen scored 10 points during the run -- in just 92 seconds.

If you wanted to pinpoint when K-State won the game, it was right there. But with the way K-State started it shouldn't have even been that close as they held a 15-point halftime lead. It felt like they were in control of the game throughout the first half only to see it crumble for a short time in the second half.

The star of the show once again was Pullen. He put up 27 points on 8-of-18 shooting including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 8-of-8 at the free throw line. Teammate Rodney McGruder was hot as well scoring 20 points after hitting 5-of-7 three pointers.

For Pullen, that's 38 points and 27 points in the last two games. He's playing like he was a preseason All-American (he was).

Kansas State moves to 18-9 on the year and 6-6 in the Big 12. Next up for the Wildcats will be a trip to Lincoln to play the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who just beat the Texas Longhorns, so that's no easy task.
