No. 25 Kansas State (12-4, 1-3 Big 12) hope to break their slump in Big 12 conference play when they host Texas (12-5, 2-2 Big 12) Wednesday night. The Wildcats have fallen to the lower third of the conference standings after an upset 82-73 loss at Oklahoma on Saturday.
Through four games K State has allowed 70.8 points on 46.9 percent shooting through four games, including 78.5 points on 54.3 percent in losses last week to Baylor and Oklahoma. The Wildcats have also turned the ball over consistently, averaging 16.5 a game in Big 12 play. The slow start matches K State's 0-4 and 1-3 starts in Big 12 play the last two seasons.
