Freshman G Angel Rodriguez is leading the way for the visiting Kansas State Wildcats, who hold a 31-24 lead on the road at Oklahoma State.
Despite missing 10 of their 14 free throw attempts, the Wildcats hold the edge over the Cowboys, who have been paced by the eight points from red shirt freshman F Mike Cobbins.
Oklahoma State is shooting just 32% from the field, and has failed to connect from three point range. Coming into the contest, the Cowboys had converted on less than one third of their three point tries this season.
The Wildcats have not won in Stillwater since 1993, and are seeking their first Big 12 road victory of the 2011-2012 season. After spending much of the year amongst the Top 25, the Wildcats have fallen out of both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll.
Both teams entered the contest with a 2-3 Big 12 record, three games behind conference leading Kansas, who has yet to lose a Big 12 game this season (5-0).
