Kansas State Vs. Oklahoma State Final Score: Wildcats Take Out Cowboys, 66-58

The Kansas St. Wildcats used a balanced attack to get past the Oklahoma St. Cowboys, 66-58. The win for Kansas State snapped an 11-game losing streak at Gallagher-Iba Aren. Kansas State got a big game from freshman Angel Rodriguez who scored 14 points in only his second start and tied Rodney McGruder for the most points scored for Kansas State this Saturday afternoon.

Kansas State's defense held Oklahoma State without a field goal from the four minute mark in the first half to the 8:59 mark in the second half, and during that time Kansas State increased their led from 24-22 to 46-35. The game was not over at that point as Oklahoma State made a run to chip away at the Kansas State lead and actually cut the lead to 59-56 with two minutes left in the game.

The Kansas State defense tightened up and held Oklahoma State to two points the rest of the way, and the single bucket for Oklahoma State came with one second left.

The win for Kansas State puts them at .500 in Big 12 play at 3-3 and are now 14-4 overall.
