Alabama-LSU Will Be 'Boring To Watch' Without Oklahoma State Says Kansas State Players

There's a spirit of camaraderie within the Big 12 during the bowl season as teams are rooting for each other for the rights of conference supremacy and bragging rights. The latest round of support came from Kansas State players as they gear up for their own Cotton Bowl and reflect upon the fact that Oklahoma State, the best team in the Big 12 this season, was left out of the national title picture.

"I think Oklahoma State should have been in the national championship game," Kansas State running back Jon Hubert told the Star-Telegram. "It would have been a better game instead of watching LSU and Alabama play again. That's two defensive teams... and will be boring to watch. It will be a low-scoring game, instead of a power offense and a power defense going at each other."

If LSU loses, center B.J. Finney said the Cowboys warrant title consideration. "If LSU were to lose, I would hope for OSU to be in the talk to have a split decision," Kansas State center B.J. Finney said. "Oklahoma State is a very good football team. They've had one heck of a season."

"We know those guys on a personal level," wideout Chris Harper said. "When we're not playing them, we want to see them do well for the conference."
