The Kansas State Wildcats survived a tough trip to Iowa State on Saturday, coming away with a 27-21 win, and moving up two spots in the Associated Press top 25 poll this week.
Alabama and Oregon, meanwhile, hold on to the top two spots. Alabama pummeled Missouri on the road, while the Ducks picked up a win over Washington at home.
West Virginia took the hardest hit of the week, dropping 12 spots to No. 17 after getting blown out by Texas Tech, 49-14, on the road. The Mountaineers are now 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in Big 12 play.
Conversely, that big win brought Texas Tech into the rankings. The Red Raiders are now No. 18 and will look to defend their new ranking this week at TCU.
