College football schedule 2012: Kansas State, West Virginia headline Big 12 slate

The unbeaten Kansas State Wildcats head to Morgantown to take on Geno Smith and the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday night in the Big 12's premier game of the week.

No. 13 West Virginia was handed their first loss of the season in a 49-14 blowout by the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday, while No. 4 Kansas State survived an upset bid on the road against the Iowa State Cyclones, 27-21.

Elsewhere in the Big 12, ranked teams square off when the No. 23 TCU Horned Frogs host No. 17 Texas Tech on Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri Tigers, after falling at home on Saturday to the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide, 42-10, have the week off in the SEC. They'll host the Kentucky Wildcats on Oct. 27.
