With a 55-14 win over West Virginia, the Kansas State Wildcats jumped the Oregon Ducks in the BCS Standings for the No. 3 spot. They didn't do the same in the newest edition of SB Nation's BlogPoll, although they did close the gap on the Ducks.
With four first-place votes, the Wildcats earned two more nods for the top spot than the Ducks, despite a strong, 43-21 victory over Arizona State for Oregon. The biggest mover of the week in the upwards direction, No. 13 Texas Tech, will be the next test for K-State, after the Red Raiders earned a three-overtime victory over TCU.
As Oregon will be facing the unranked, 1-6 Colorado Buffaloes, a win over Texas Tech would likely be enough to move K-State ahead of the Ducks.
Both Missouri and Kansas are unranked and did not receive votes in the latest BlogPoll as each team was blown out against top ranked opponents on Saturday.
