The Kansas State Wildcats, 55-24 blowout winners over Texas Tech on Saturday, have jumped a spot in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll and now sit in the No. 3 position.

Kansas State is ranked behind No. 1 Alabama - a unanimous choice for the top spot - and the No. 2 Oregon Ducks. Undefeated Notre Dame and one-loss LSU round out the Top 5. The Florida Gators, previously ranked No. 3, dropped to No. 8 after a 17-9 loss to Georgia.

Kansas State is one of five Big 12 teams to be included in this week's ranking. Oklahoma, following Saturday's home loss to Notre Dame, sits at No. 12, with Texas Tech at No. 20, Texas at No. 22 and Oklahoma State ranked No. 24.

Kansas State will welcome Oklahoma State to Manhattan next weekend. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT from Bill Snyder Stadium.
