Next weekend's matchup between the West Virginia Mountaineers and Kansas State Wildcats could be the biggest game on the Big 12's 2012 football schedule, so it should come as no surprise that FOX has chosen it as its College Football Game of the Week and will broadcast it nationally.
The Oct. 20 game between the two currently undefeated teams is set for a 6:05 p.m. CT kickoff, with Gus Johnson, Charles Davis and Julia Andrews on the broadcast.
Two teams stand in the way this weekend of the Wildcats and Mountaineers holding on to their undefeated marks before meeting each other. No. 6 Kansas State travels to play Iowa State, while No. 5 West Virginia travels to face Texas Tech.
Stakes will be high for the Oct. 20 game. The winner -- should both still be undefeated at the time -- will leave one team very much in the national title hunt. Both teams also feature Heisman candidates at quarterback, with Geno Smith at West Viriginia and Collin Klein at Kansas State.
