The Kansas State Wildcats enter Saturday's game against the TCU Horned Frogs with a giant-sized question mark at quarterback. Heisman hopeful Collin Klein suffered a head injury against Oklahoma State last week and his status for the game is still unclear. Head coach Bill Snyder said earlier this week he thinks Klein will be able to play.
Would I expect him to play? I certainly hope that's the case, and I would expect that to take place.
Klein jogged off the field in the third quarter of Kansas State's 44-30 Victory over the Cowboys, had a chat with the trainers and didn't return. In Klein's absence, Daniel Sams was 5-of-6 for 45 yards and rushed for 20 more yards, but his team scored only six points in 1.5 quarters while he was at the helm.
Klein, considered by many the favorite for the Heisman Trophy, has thrown for 1,875 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season. He's also rushed for 698 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Kickoff for Saturday's game from Fort Worth is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and can be seen on Fox.
