Kansas State vs. TCU update: Wildcats have 13-0 lead at halftime

The Kansas State Wildcats were slowed in the second quarter, but tacked on a field goal for a 13-0 halftime lead against the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth on Saturday night.

The Wildcats were held to just 26 yards of offense in the second frame, and spent the end of the quarter going backwards. After starting a drive at midfield, Collin Klein was tackled for 14 yards' worth of loss on two plays, and Kansas State was forced to punt.

But TCU's Deante' Gray, returning punts because Skye Dawson has a back injury, fumbled the catch while back-pedaling. Klein and company were given a five-yard field, but the Horned Frogs defense was stifling, moving K-State back six yards and forcing a field goal attempt. Anthony Cantele put through a 20-yard field goal for the 13-0 lead.

Kansas State leads TCU in total yards, 160-99. Klein is 7-of-12 for 103 yards and one interception, with an additional 22 yards rushing on 11 carries.
