The Kansas State Wildcats have extended their lead over the TCU Horned Frogs, building a 23-0 margin after three quarters in Fort Worth on Saturday night.
The Wildcats put points on the board on their first possession of the second half as Collin Klein continued to work. After completed three passes for 26 yards, Klein capped off the eight-play scoring drive with a 34-yard sprint up the left side of the field to give Kansas State a 20-0 lead.
TCU made another mistake in the special teams game. After Frogs quarterback Trevone Boykin lost 19 yards on a fumble, punter Ethan Perry shanked an eight-yard punt, giving K-State an 18-yard field. But as in the second quarter, the Wildcats couldn't make TCU fully pay and settled for a 27-yard field goal.
Kansas State leads TCU in total yards, 226-141. Klein is now 10-17 for 129 passing yards, while adding 52 yards on the ground. Matthew Tucker leads all TCU rushers with 62 yards on the ground.
