Collin Klein has a chance to seriously pad his Heisman credentials while at the same time keeping his No. 2 Kansas State Wildcats on track for a BCS title game berth, but the Baylor Bears will look to derail those plans Saturday when the two teams meet in a Big 12 showdown.
Baylor (4-5, 1-5 Big 12) and its woeful, 116th-ranked pass defense could have a tough time slowing down the Heisman candidate Klein and the Wildcats, who with Alabama's loss moved up to No. 1 in the BCS rankings this week. Kansas State (10-0, 7-0) needs to keep its undefeated season alive to keep up its hopes at a national championship with Oregon and Notre Dame still undefeated as well and lurking right behind.
Klein has passed for 2,020 yards with 12 touchdowns and only three interceptions while also rushing for 748 yards and 19 touchdowns. Baylor's pass defense is giving up an atrocious 367.7 passing yards per game.
Saturday's game kicks off at 7 p.m. CT from Waco, Texas, and will be televised by ESPN.
