The Kansas State Wildcats might have moved up to the top spot in the BCS rankings, but they're still behind the Oregon Ducks in the SB Nation BlogPoll. K-State is No. 2, right behind the top-ranked Ducks and right ahead of fellow unbeaten Notre Dame.
Alabama's loss to Texas A&M allowed the three unbeaten teams still fighting for a BCS title game berth the shot at moving up. The Crimson Tide dropped to No. 4. The Wildcats received 24 first-place votes, second only to Oregon's 44. The Fighting Irish received four such votes and Alabama, despite the loss, still got two.
The Wildcats were just percentage points behind the Ducks, 24.56 percent to 24.86.
Georgia, Florida and Florida State, all with one loss apiece, followed Alabama while LSU, Ohio State and Texas A&M round out an SEC-dominated Top 10. Oklahoma was the next-highest-ranked Big 12 team after Kansas State at No. 13.
