Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State odds: Wildcats favored in Big 12 showdown

The No. 2 team in the country is favored by more than a touchdown against the No. 24 Oklahoma State Cowboys.

No. 2 Kansas State welcomes No. 24 Oklahoma State on Saturday as the Wildcats continue their quest to be the best team in the NCAA in 2012.

According to OddsShark.com, the Wildcats are favored over the Cowboys by nine points after opening the week as 7.5-point favorites.

Kansas State sports the No. 5 offense in the nation, averaging 44.4 points per game and will be facing an Oklahoma State defense that is allowing 23.1 points a game, good for No. 44 in the NCAA. K-State has used a balanced attack on offense, based mostly around a multi-faceted running game, averaging just 205 yards passing per game.

Most are expecting a high scoring game with the total sitting at 66.5 for the game as of Friday. The total has gone over in four of the past five meetings between Oklahoma State and Kansas State.

The Wildcats take on the Cowboys on Saturday night at 7 p.m. CT on ABC.
