Kansas State can reach the finals of the NIT Season Tipoff and improve to 5-0 with a win over Delaware. The two schools meet Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Kansas State has beaten Lamar and Alabama-Huntsville to advance to the semifinals. The winner of the WIldcats' game with Delaware will go on to the finals to face either Michigan or Pittsburgh.
The Wildcats have been stingy on the defensive end, allowing only 47.0 points per game. The Fightin' Blue Hens (2-1) are scoring 69.7 points per game. They have wins over Virginia and Penn in the tournament already, and an upset over the Wildcats and trip to the finals of the tournament could go a long way in boosting the program's profile.
Kansas State and Delaware tip off at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by ESPNU, and the other semifinal between Michigan and Pittsburgh will take place immediately following.
