Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein reportedly "looks great" after suffering a concussion during the Wildcats' win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday.

Kansas State Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein suffered a concussion during Kansas State's win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday -- an injury that could potentially derail Kansas State's 2012 season.

However, both Klein and Wildcats fans should breathe a sigh of relief on Monday. According to Kelly Klein, Collin's mother, the concussed quarterback "looks great."

However, Klein's mother, Kelly, told ESPN's Joe Schad that she visited with her son Sunday and said "he is doing great."

"He looks great and he feels great," Kelly Klein said. "I think he is going to be 100 percent this week. As far as I know he will begin a normal film review and normal practice week as per usual."

While Klein's mother may believe that to be true, Klein will still need to pass a series of tests before he's medically cleared to play this weekend, when the Wildcats take on the TCU Horned Frogs.

Klein has been nothing short of excellent this season, completing 133-of-187 passes for 1,875 yards, while throwing 12 touchdowns against just two interceptions. Klein has also rushed for 698 yards and a staggering 17 touchdowns through Kansas State's first nine games.

Klein's status for Saturday is still unknown, but the senior quarterback will likely do everything he can to play -- and continue Kansas State's perfect season.
