Despite outlasting Oklahoma State on Saturday by two touchdowns, the Kansas State Wildcats fell back to No. 3 overall in the country on Tuesday according to the latest BlogPoll Top 25.
Instead of gaining ground on Alabama with their pivotal Big 12 victory, the Wildcats were instead leapfrogged by the Oregon Ducks, last week's No. 3 team. The Ducks put on a legitimate offensive clinic in a season-defining win over USC on the road, as voters opted to propel Oregon up to No. 2 in both the Coaches' and AP Polls in addition to the BlogPoll.
Currently one of six undefeated teams across the sport, Kansas State managed to climb to the No. 2 spot in the latest BCS rankings despite falling elsewhere. The Wildcats still earned five of the 83 total first-place votes doled out by BlogPoll contributors following Week 10, and will have a great chance to build their resume this weekend against a dangerous TCU team on the road.
