Kansas State vs. Gonzaga preview: TV info, game schedule and more

Kansas State will take on a dangerous Gonzaga team on Saturday in the 10th annual State Farm Battle in Seattle.

US PRESSWIRE

In search of their first notable non-conference victory, the Kansas State Wildcats will make the trek out to Washington this Saturday for a date with the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the State Farm Battle in Seattle.

The Bulldogs have posted a 5-4 record over nine previous appearances in the event, and will welcome Kansas State in the first game of a two-year scheduling deal between the two schools. Despite jumping out to a 9-0 record with wins over West Virginia, Clemson and Washington State, Gonzaga dropped its first game of the season on Saturday to an Illinois squad that featured a majority of Bruce Weber's former players.

Along with holding a win over Mark Few while he was at Illinois in 2010, Weber will enter Saturday's game with his team on a two-game winning streak after losing to Michigan on the day after Thanksgiving. The Wildcats narrowly avoided a disaster on the road against George Washington on Saturday, but picked up 14 second-half points from point guard Angel Rodriguez to claw their way to 7-1 on the year.
