The Oregon Ducks offense and Kansas St. Wildcats defense took their turns in front of the media Saturday morning as they prepare for next Thursday's Fiesta Bowl.
This will be the first time the Wildcats and Ducks have ever played each other, so there will be some unfamiliarity between the two teams. According to Ryan Wallace of GoPowercat.com, Oregon offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich compared the Wildcats defense to the Wisconsin defense the Ducks played in last season's Rose Bowl, with one notable exception.
Oregon OC Mark Helfrich says schematically, K-State D most similar to Wisconsin last year but believes Cats are more athletic version.

The Ducks opened up as 8 point favorites but that line has since moved up to Oregon +9. The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff on Jan. 3, 2013. ESPN will televise the game from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
