Kansas trailed Delaware at halftime by six points, but managed to hold Delaware to just 27 second half points as the Jayhawks were able to mount their comeback.
Elena Delle Donne did everything she could to stop the upset, as she scored 34 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the losing effort for Delaware.
