Kansas' Cinderella story continues midday on Saturday, as the eleventh-seeded Kansas Jayhawks take on the Tennessee Lady Vols as the Sweet 16 tips off in the 2012 NCAA Women's tournament.
Kansas defeated third-seeded Delaware earlier this week to advance to the Sweet 16. On Saturday, it won't get any easier, as they're faced with the tough task of taking out perennial women's basketball powerhouse Tennessee. Kansas and Tennessee are the first Sweet 16 teams to tip off, with a scheduled start time of 11:04 a.m. CT.
Women's college basketball fans will be in for a treat shortly after, as the undefeated Baylor Lady Bears continue their pursuit of perfection, as they take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at 1:00 p.m. CT.
Fans will be in for a long wait, though, as the next women's game on Saturday, Duke vs. St. John's, isn't scheduled to tip off until 8:04 p.m. CT. The first day of the Sweet 16 will then be wrapped up as Stanford takes on South Carolina at 10:32 p.m. CT.
