It appears as though Frank Martin will officially be announced as the new men's basketball coach at South Carolina, and details regarding his compensation have surfaced. According to Scott Hood of GamecockCentral.com, Martin will have a base salary of $1.9 million in his new gig:
I've been told Frank Martin's new deal is for 5 years at approx. $1.9 million per year. About 400k raise from Kansas State.

Further:
The $1.9 million is the guaranteed compensation. He will have the typical performance bonuses as well.

While official word has not been handed down from either Kansas State or South Carolina, speculation continues to boil that Martin will bolt the Wildcats to take over the downtrodden Gamecock program. That means a move to the SEC, where he'll face former Big 12 foe Missouri, who is set to join the conference this fall.
