Kansas State's Arthur Brown Considered First Round Prospect For 2013 NFL Draft

If anyone can draw comparisons to Ray Lewis, the certain future Hall of Fame linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, then being a first-round selection should be nothing to worry about. If that’s the case, then Kansas State linebacker Arthur Brown is going to find his draft stock climbing all season as the 2013 NFL Draft begins to approach.

In his list of top prospects for next year’s draft, Sports Illustrated’s Tony Pauline writes about Brown in his top 30. “Brown exploded on the scene for Kansas State last season after transferring from Miami-Florida. He’s a three-down linebacker who makes plays all over the field. His size and style are comparable to former Hurricane linebacker Ray Lewis.”

Brown had 101 tackles last year for Bill Snyder’s surprise team including 2 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss. Brown should be the anchor of the defense that, this year, will be out to prove everyone wrong that K-State’s success in 2011 was a fluke.
