Kansas State has one of the marquee games of the weekend as conference play begins all over college football. The Wildcats will head to Oklahoma on Saturday to face off against a tough Sooners team in one of their first big tests of the young season.
Elsewhere in regional action, the Missouri Tigers will see their first ever road game as a member of the SEC as they travel to the East coast to face off against South Carolina in a tough road match up. Though 2-1 overall, the Tigers lost their first ever SEC game and may be playing without star quarterback James Franklin. Without Franklin, things will be just that much more difficult for Mizzou as they seek their first conference win.
Here's some of the big games going on in the area over the weekend, all times are Central:
Kansas Jayhawks vs. Northern Illinois Huskies (Sept. 22, 2:30 p.m.)
Missouri Tigers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (Sept. 2:30 p.m.)
Kansas State Wildcats vs. Oklahoma Sooners (Sept. 22, 6:50 p.m.)
