Coming off a slaughter of Missouri State, the Kansas State Wildcats will be looking to start strong against a tougher opponent in the Miami Hurricanes. Each team will be looking to add to their resume with a solid non-conference win early in the year, to add to both their momentum and their chances of getting a good bowl at the end of the season.
Both teams will likely feature big running games. For Miami, all eyes will be on running back Duke Johnson, who had a breakout performance against Boston College when he scored two touchdowns on just seven carries. Kansas State will be hoping for a big performance from John Hubert, who had 166 rushing yards last season against the 'Canes.
Senior quarterback Collin Klein may be in for a big day as well -- Miami allowed over 400 passing yards against Boston College despite beating the Eagles 41-32.
Game time: 1 p.m. CT
TV: FX
Point spread: Kansas State favored by 7.
