Miami Vs. Kansas State Halftime Score: Wildcats Lead Hurricanes, 24-6

The No. 21 Kansas State Wildcats are on top of the Miami Hurricanes, 24-6, as the teams file into the locker room at halftime in Manhattan, Kan.

The Wildcats dominated the first half behind the efforts of quarterback Collin Klein, who ran for two touchdowns and threw for another. He was very efficient throwing the football, completing six of seven passes for 98 yards and the score. He wasn't quite as effective running the ball overall, as he averaged just 2.3 yards per carry in the half. However, in addition to finding the endzone twice, he was a good compliment to running back John Hubert, who rushed for 60 yards on 11 carries.

Kansas State had a chance to put more points on the board near the end of the half, as Wildcats defensive end Adam Davis sacked Miami quarterback Stephen Morris at Miami's own 20-yard line, forcing a fumble in the process. However, KSU botched a third-down play at the 1-yard line, losing 19 yards and forcing them to kick a field goal, which was missed.

Miami would drive 70 yards on the ensuing possession, and capped off the half with a 27-yard field goal from Jake Wieclaw.
