Miami Vs. Kansas State Score Update: Wildcats Hold A 31-6 Lead Over Hurricanes

The 21st-ranked Kansas State Wildcats lead the Miami Hurricanes, 31-6, at the end of the third quarter at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan, Kan.

Collin Klein ran for his third touchdown of the game early in the quarter, which put a bow on a 6-play, 71-yard drive in which the explosive quarterback threw for 44 yards and rushed for 17.

The Hurricanes were able to put together a long drive toward the end of the quarter, as they took advantage of a couple of Kansas State penalties to get themselves into prime scoring position. However, the Wildcats' defense was able to bear down and keep the 'Canes off the board. The key play came on a third-down sack of Miami quarterback Stephen Morris by KSU linebacker Arthur Brown, which sent the Hurricanes from the KSU 3-yard line back to the 10. Morris tried to scramble to the end zone on fourth down, but was stopped three yards short.
