Miami Vs. Kansas State Final Score: No. 21 Wildcats Pound Hurricanes, 52-13

The No. 21 Kansas State Wildcats routed the Miami Hurricanes, 52-13, on Saturday afternoon at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kan. Quarterback Collin Klein led the Wildcats with four total touchdowns.

Klein ran for two scores in the first quarter as the Wildcats jumped out to a 14-3 lead. Following a an Anthony Cantele field goal that made the score 17-3, Klein hooked up with wide receiver Curry Sexton for a 27-yard touchdown pass to put Kansas State up by three scores. The Hurricanes took advantage of a miscue by KSU at the Miami 1-yard line, and were able to tack on another field goal right before the half.

KSU came out firing on all cylinders in the second half, as they put up 28 points -- 21 of which came in the fourth quarter -- while holding Miami to only a late touchdown. Klein picked up his third rushing touchdown in the third quarter before being pulled. His replacement, freshman Daniel Sams, picked up where the explosive Klein left off, as he ran for 47 yards and two touchdowns before being pulled himself.

Kansas State running back John Hubert also had a big day, as he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. While the Wildcats' running game was in top form, their run defense was just as good, holding Miami to just 43 yards on 29 carries.
