The Kansas State Wildcats are healthy heading into the Fiesta Bowl, with safety Ty Zimmerman and offensive lineman Nick Puetz set to return to action against the Oregon Ducks on Thursday, according to K-State Sports' Mark Janssen.
Zimmerman missed the Wildcats' final two regular season games with a leg injury which he suffered in the team's win over TCU on Nov. 10. The junior accounted for 45 tackles, five interceptions and two fumble recoveries in 10 games.
Puetz injured his foot in Kansas State's season-opening victory Missouri State and missed the five games that followed. He was hobbled by the injury throughout the remainder of the season and, like Zimmerman, was initially ruled out of the bowl game.
Kansas State and Oregon will kick off the 2013 Fiesta Bowl at 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. The game will be televised on ESPN and its online streaming service, WatchESPN.
