After an explosive end to the first half, the third quarter calmed down a bit in the game between the Kansas St. Wildcats and the Iowa St. Cyclones. But Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein was still able to manufacture some late third quarter magic to increase the Wildcats' lead to 24-14 after three quarters.

Klein used a highly effective pump fake to get the defense off balance before rushing 12 yards for his third rushing touchdown of the day. Klein used a short field to put together a six play, 30 yard drive in just two minutes and 37 seconds. Klein now has 227 total yards, rushing and passing.

The Cyclones marched down the field during their last possession of the third quarter and find themselves at the Kansas State 20-yard line with the fourth quarter just beginning. If the Cyclones can score early in the fourth quarter, this will be a game to come down to the wire.
