The Kansas Jayhawks would love nothing more than to knock their in-state rival Kansas State Wildcats from the ranks of the unbeaten. They'll get their chance Saturday on the road in Manhatten, Kan., when they face the No. 7 WIldcats 11 a.m.
Kansas State (4-0, 1-0) has won the Sunflower Showdown the last three years and wouldn't seem to be at risk to lose this year to the woeful Jayhawks (1-3, 0-1), who are perhaps the worst team in the Big 12. The Wildcats will be rested after being off last week. They're coming a huge win over then-No. 6 Oklahoma on Sept. 22, so a letdown to Kansas doesn't seem likely.
Kansas also didn't play last week and has had time to simmer over a Sept. 22 30-23 loss to Northern Illinois.
In SEC Land, the Missouri Tigers are still looking for their first win in their new conference. They'll host perennial league doormat Vanderbilt on Saturday, with the Commodores also still looking for their first conference win of the season.
Here's a rundown of this week's local games:

Vanderbilt at Missouri -- Saturday, 6 p.m., ESPNU
