BCS Rankings Projections Were Right: Mizzou Lands At No. 6

The Mizzou Tigers were projected to be the No. 6 team in the latest BCS rankings and the projections were right. The BCS standings have been released and the Missouri Tigers land at No. 6.

Ahead of Mizzou, starting at No. 1 is Auburn, Oregon, Boise State, TCU and Michigan State. Mizzou is the last of a string of six straight undefeated teams at the top of the polls. Alabama, with one loss, follows Mizzou.

Oklahoma, who Mizzou beat on Saturday night, falls to No. 9. They were No. 1 in the BCS standings last week before their 36-27 loss to Mizzou.

Mizzou's next opponent, Nebraska, is No. 14. The Tigers will travel to Lincoln in what is now the biggest game of the year. That's the life of an undefeated team. Every game is bigger than your last one.
