Mizzou DE Aldon Smith has been recovering from a fractured fibula suffered back in the middle of September. Last week against Oklahoma was the first game back he's seen.
I'd say he did OK, particularly with a big-time interception return. Gary Pinkel talked a bit about Smith and his return in the Oklahoma game. Via Dave Matter of Columbia Tribune:
Pinkel said defensive end Aldon Smith played 52 of MU's 75 defensive snaps against Oklahoma and held up well despite being a month removed from suffering a broken right leg. Pinkel said Smith's postgame X-rays looked better than they have since the initial injury.
That's good news for Smith and for the Mizzou defense.
