Mizzou Football Needs To Stop The Run Against Colorado

It's simple, really: Mizzou football needs to stop the run Saturday night against Colorado. The QB situation at Colorado with Tyler Hansen isn't one in which he'll take the game over.

Colorado is much more prone to run the ball.

SB Nation's Denver found a few interesting rushing stats for Colorado (from ESPN.com):

Dan Hawkins-coached teams are 40-1 with at least 200 rushing yards. The only loss came to Kansas State in 2006.

Colorado has topped the 200-yard mark on the ground in each of its past two games.

Colorado called running plays 39 percent of the time in 2009.

So far in 2010, the Buffs have called run plays on 59 percent of the team's snaps.

Basically, Colorado's offense will be very boring and Mizzou's offense -- if my prediction is right -- will be much more exciting.
