Mizzou backup QB James Franklin came in for QB Blaine Gabbert in the fourth quarter against Colorado on Saturday night.
Gabbert had been banged up a little earlier in the game so it's unclear if he was given an early break or if he was injured.
Mizzou lead 19-0 at the time. Franklin came in and lead Mizzou to another touchdown -- Michael Egnew's second touchdown reception -- giving them a 26-0 lead.
We'll see what's up with Gabbert. Mizzou's defense has been playing very well so it's possible they just took the cautious route and sat Gabbert with the game (nearly) in hand.
