Mizzou QB Blaine Gabbert left Saturday night's game against Colorado with a hip injury and alter confirmed as a hip pointer.
Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel commented on the injury after his team had beat Colorado, 26-0.
Yeah he's got that high hip pointer. We're going to have to take a look at it and see what's up. That's just the way this game is. Hopefully he'll be ready to go. If not, James Franklin does a good job. We have a lot of work. Some good things in this game and other things we have to improve.
James Franklin did OK throwing a touchdown and an interception (to a defensive lineman). He's just a freshman so it'd be a lot to ask him to start a full game.
