Mizzou dominated Colorado on 26-0 Saturday night in Columbia, MO.
After the game head coach Gary Pinkel told the FSN telecast that he's proud of Mizzou's defensive shutout.
Especially with that turnover down there on the 18 yard line, where the ball got knocked out. They were playing great, we had some big kicking plays, too. I'm really proud of them. I'm really glad they didn't score at the end because they certainly did the things necessary to get the shutout. So, a good job and we're getting better.
The defense wasn't dominating all the game they were just very fundamentally sound across the board. Colorado's strength was rushing the ball and they shut that down.
