Mizzou Football Senior Class Shooting For The Record Books

The Missouri Tigers senior class will play one final game in Columbia, MO at Faurot Field on Saturday when Daniel Thomas and the Kansas State Wildcats come to town. It's a special day for all the seniors involved and one they can make it even more special if they get the W.

A win would put the senior class at 38 wins in their careers. There's only 15 of them but that would tie the Mizzou 2009 senior class four-year record for wins.

They'll beat out the 2008 class, who put up 37 wins. The 2008 class topped the 1963 class (33 wins) and the 2007 class (32 wins) so it's a nice trend Mizzou has going here.

It's a nod to what Gary Pinkel has done with the Missouri Tigers football program in his tenure.

The Tigers still have a few games left so they should be able to get to 40 wins over that period -- maybe 41 with a Bowl game.
