The Missouri Tigers dropped again this week in the BCS standings because of their second consecutive loss. Last week it was the Nebraska Corn Huskers and on Saturday it was Texas Tech, both road games. The Tigers drop understandably drop in the rankings to No. 17.
The team they beat earlier in the season, Oklahoma, is ranked directly ahead of them at No. 16. Mizzou was ranked as high as No. 6 earlier in the season when they were 7-0 after the OU win.
Starting it off is Oregon, Auburn, TCU and Boise State. LSU becomes the top one-loss team at the fifth spot following by Stanford, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State and Oklahoma State.
Mizzou ends the season against Kansas State, Iowa State and Kansas. Theoretically they should be able to run the table there putting their season at 10-2. However, after Saturday's loss to Texas Tech you can hardly predict anything. Mizzou isn't a lock against any of those teams.
The Big 12 is basically over for Mizzou as Nebraska holds a one-game lead and the tiebreaker.
The BCS standings continue to favor Mizzou over the AP poll and USA Today Coaches' poll.
