2011 College Football Poll: Oklahoma No. 1; Mizzou No. 8

NationalChamps.net has come out with a very, very early poll for the 2011 college football season. I imagine they're assuming QB Blaine Gabbert will come back to Missouri as the Tigers are ranked No. 8 in their preseason poll while the Oklahoma Sooners take the top spot.

If Gabbert returns, I'm feeling pretty good about Mizzou next year. In theory, he'll get better in his third year after two full years of starting and Mizzou has some talent returning.

Alabama comes in second followed by LSU, Oregon and Auburn. Ohio State is No. 6 before Arkansas at No. 7 and Mizzou at No. 8. Stanford and Texas A&M round out the top 10.

We have no clue how accurate this list will eventually end up being but, if history is any indication, it's probably way off since there's always a team or two that surprises us.
