Insight Bowl, Missouri Vs. Iowa Score: Ricky Stanzi, Marcus Coker And Hawkeyes Strike First

The Iowa Hawkeyes got off to a fast start in the 2010 Insight Bowl jumping out to a 7-0 lead less than five minutes into the game. The Hawkeyes offense passed just one time and found the end zone behind seven Marcus Coker rushes for 18 yards and one big pass from QB Ricky Stanzi.

Facing an early third down, Stanzi found WR Marvin McNutt in single coverage and placed it in nicely for a 49-yard gain. From there the Hawkeyes ran, ran, and ran some more.

Mizzou's red zone defense is the best in the country allowing opponents to score on just 17 of 31 possessions (55 percent) but they weren't able to slow down Iowa.

It's just one possession but it was a good one. Mizzou's defense will need to get back to doing what they've been doing all year. The Tigers now get the ball back and they'll need to match a surprising Iowa offense that came firing on all cylinders right off the bat.
