Insight Bowl, Missouri Vs. Iowa Score: Blaine Gabbert Nearly Perfect As Tigers Trail Hawkeyes, 7-3

The Missouri Tigers put together a 17-play, 75-yard drive only to see it fall short as Mizzou decided to kick the field goal on a fourth and one nearly the goal line. Mizzou now trails the Iowa Hawkeyes 7-3 in the 2010 Insight Bowl after Iowa scored on their opening possession.

QB Blaine Gabbert went 8-of-9 for 68 yards on the drive and nearly got the Tigers into the end zone. WR Jerrell Jackson already has three receptions for 48 yards while WR T.J. Moe has two receptions for seven yards.

Mizzou's offense looked sharp moving the ball down the field but couldn't convert near the goal line. You have to wonder if they should have gone for it on fourth and one at Iowa's six yard line.

Mizzou's drive took 6:20 off the clock.

Oh, and for all the NFL folks watching, Gabbert faced a 3rd and 19 and threw a 24-yard strike to Jackson as he was getting hit to complete the pass.

The Tigers trail the Hawkeyes, 7-3, late in the first quarter.
