The Missouri Tigers started a little slow but their starting to pick it up against the Iowa Hawkeyes as they take the lead, 24-20, late in the third quarter. QB Blaine Gabbert was once again as good as advertised as he led the Tigers 57 yards on nine plays in under three minutes to take a 24-20 lead.
TE Michael Egnew caught the touchdown pass and has seven catches for 64 yards on the day. Gabbert has completed 32-of-43 passes for 369 and a touchdown. He threw one pick that wasn't really his fault and helped keep multiple Mizzou drives going in the second half.
Iowa's Marcus Coker has 183 yards on the ground on 24 carries through three quarters. Mizzou's defense created a turnover against QB Ricky Stanzi late in the third quarter leading to their third touchdown. Iowa had hopped off to a 14-3 lead in the first half but both the Tigers offense and defense picked it up considerably since then.
The Tigers are leading 24-20 in the fourth quarter.
