Missouri's Bench Helps Tigers To 15-Point Halftime Lead Over Kansas State Wildcats

The Missouri Tigers are hosting the Kansas State Wildcats at Mizzou Arena as part of ESPN's Big Monday schedule. The Tigers hold a 43-28 hafltime lead over Kansas State and looks like the better team to this point. The key stat is that Mizzou is 5-of-12 from beyond three-point land while K-State is 1-of-6.

Phil Pressey has 10 points off the bench hitting 2-of-3 three-pointers and Laurence Bowers, also off the bench, has added eight points for the Tigers. Marcus Denmon has just four points on 2-of-5 shooting. The Tigers defense has created five steals and the offense has turned it over seven times.

As a team, Mizzou is shooting 50 percent (16-of-32).

Jacob Pullen and Jamar Samuels have combined for 13 points for Kansas State including 6-of-6 at the free throw line. Rodney McGruder has four points on 2-of-6 shooting.

As a team, Kansas State is shooting 41.7 percent (10-of-24).

Mizzou's looking like they're going to run away with this one but K-State is capable of coming back. Missouri has to play their game and avoid doing anything different in the second half. What they did in the first half clearly worked.
